Why can’t you cry?
Why do you hold it in even when you really can’t?
Repress.

Why do you do this to yourself?
You’re suffocating yourself.
You are so overwhelmed there is a knot in your chest and throat.
You can’t breathe or talk or do anything.
You are just stuck there.
Stuck in that dark place.
You want to cry, but you can’t.
She won’t let you.
Her cold hands wrap around your mouth.
You want to scream but you can’t.
She won’t let you.
You won’t let yourself.
You can’t talk.
She won’t let you, she is cold.
No emotion, just spite.
She doesn’t like you and she never will.
She will always criticize you and break you down.
She is you, and you are she.
You just want to let go and be free…
